Sonos Sub Power Cable

My Sub Gen 2 is no longer powering up. In order to trouble shoot I want to try another cable.

Without purchasing a $40 cable from Sonos, is there any other cables I could try, from another appliance/device for example, or maybe a cheap replacement from Bunnings/Outlet store?

If you know someone with a Playbar, Sub (Gen 2), Sub (Gen 1), or Play:3, they all use the same power cord.

You should also submit a diagnostic through the Sonos app and post your confirmation number on this thread.

I don’t know anyone else with any Sonos products.

Hi @butters7388

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

The power cable for the Sub uses a standard connection type - any cable with the same connection will suffice, provided you have the correct fuse fitted (assuming plugs have fuses at all, where you live).

All good. Sub is cooked. Replacement arrived today from Sonos.
