Hi I have a Sonos playbar, have owned since new for about 7 years. Been working fine but since we bought a new tv. It’s a Sony oled. It crackles like static every few mins but it only does this if playing/watching something through the tv/sky. Doesn’t have any sound problems if we play music directly through the soundbar. Any info on how to fix? Thanks

This sounds like an issue with the audio output of the Sony TV. Have you experimented with different Audio output settings within the TV setup?

Does the tv do it when playing through its internal speakers, with the Playbar disconnected? What if you use the internal tv tuner rather than the Sky box? That may help you identify which piece of kit is causing it.
