I was considering purchasing a second hand Playbar as a soundbar for my TV. I have Virgin 360. The Playbar I'm looking at doesn't come with a remote.

Is it possible to buy a replacement or can I program the Virgin remote to control the volume?

No Sonos soundbar comes with a remote. You can use your Virgin remote as long as it can use infra-red (IR).

Thanks. Didn't realise that. The seller obviously doesn't realise this. I'm assuming it's IR. It's the latest remote Virgin use.

Take a look at your tvs manual or just try facing the remote towards the wall opposite your tv and sending a command. If it’s an ir remote, the tv won’t react. Otherwise it probably is a bluetooth remote.

If I wanted to add speakers to the potential Playbar TV set up what other Sonos products would work? Ideally older models to keep the costs down. I already own a Sonos One Gen 2.

The One will work. Play 1's are older, so cheaper.

Thanks. How would I connect to the Playbar?

I would take a second Sonos One…

Just add it to your system as a room like the existing one. Then go to Playbars room settings and select „add surround speakers“. The Ones should be automatically suggested for adding.
