SONOS Era 100 + Beam 2 vs PC

I’ve got a set of two SONOS Era 100’s plus the Beam 2 soundbar but no TV. It all works fine, unless I want set my PC’s output sound to the SONOS groups which seems impossible at first glance as Beam 2 does not support BT. No cable connection possible. Any idea on how to set it up in a tricky way? When I remove Beam 2 from the group it all works flawlessly with pair of 100’s.

My SONOS set up for this room is Beam + 2 surrounds.

BT is not supported, if the Eras are set up as rearspeakers.
You could configure them as a separate „room“ / stereo pair and group that room with Beams room.

If you like to get surround sound with Eras as rearspeakers, you have to cable your pc to Beams digital input. As the pc probably doesn’t support hdmi arc, you might use a optical output with Beams adapter if the pc has one.

But when I set up two virtual rooms (one for my Stereo Pair Era 100s another for Beam 2) and then Group them togeter in SONOS iOS app, then my PC only sees Era 100s and does not recognize the all-speaker Group.

That is normal behavior, because your PC just „sees“ the BT destination it is paired with. Grouping is done via Sonos app on Sonos system. In the end all speakers will play the audio signal.
