Sonos Arc not indicating/ play Dolby Atmos

Hi, 

I have the Arc connected to the TV / HDMI ARC 

I do get the Dolby Atmos when watching Disney plus 

When using the Bluray : a 4K Ultra / the Arc is indicating Stereo PCM 

The Arc with my TV on regular cable shows 

Dobly Digital plus when watching TV

The movie is the same on both samples

The movie on 4K is set to the highest Dobly setting 5.1…… the TV is set to Dolby Digital plus output 

I have adjusted all possible types of settings on Audio outputs 

The TV is a Sony XBR-75X900E 

Does anyone have any possible solutions?

Does you TV have a pass through option?

Good morning, 

The pass through is through the HDMI ARC from what I can find, This is connected to the Sonos Arc

The bluray audio was switched to bitstream ( unprocessed) this did allow the DVD audio to switch to Dolby Digital plus 5.1  no Atmos 

I did have a 4th gen Google Chromecast,, put the audio to manual, a majority of the movies that I have from Google Play: Tv are in 5.1 one, 

just some movies that are newer on release dates , you think they would be in 5.1 but are only in Stereo PCM ….
