sonos arc interference with Samsung remote

Hello,

I have a sonos arc hooked up via HDMI-ARC to a new Samsung QLED TV. After a few days the Bluetooth on the remote stops working and I need to turn the tv off and on. This then repeats itself over and over again. I contacted Samsung and they have given me new remotes and even replaced the entire main board of the TV, none of this solves the problem. I then unplugged the arc and this appears to have solved my issue. Does anyone know why the arc would be interfering with the Bluetooth??? It's my understanding that the ARC doesn't even have Bluetooth.

Help!

Thanks in advance.

The issue is more likely the CEC computer inside the TV set. The Sonos Arc connects to that computer via an ARC signal to receive data regarding volume. Your remote connects to the TV set, which then sends volume commands through that computer, via ARC.

I’d definitely check the TV set for updates, the unplug it from the wall for two minutes before plugging it back in.
