Sonos Arc and Beam with Sony TV

I moved into a new house and ordered four Sony TVs and three Arc Ultras and one Beam. One set up (Sony + Arc Ultra) works seamlessly.  I can turn the TV on and the television’s audio routes through the Arc Ultra. Or I can switch over to the Sonos App and stream music to that Arc Ultra. I can switch back and forth with no issues. Simply works as one would want.

The other three however require adjustment each and every time. When I turn the TV on I have to flip the audio output in the TVs menu from audio system to TV speakers and then back to audio system to get the television’s audio to route through the arc ultra (or the beam).  I checked the settings to ensure they’re consistent in both the Sonos app, as well as in the television audio menu system. anAny advice, please?

I would call Sonos Support to discuss it. From what I can tell, three of your installations are not normal, although it’s hard to tell why.

Are all of them linked to the eARC HDMI connection?

I don’t think that it’s something related with the Sonos products, it seems more related with the TVs. Try with the Sony’s support, they can check remotely everything.

With my Sony, it was a plug and play thing.

Thanks.  I am wondering if the guy that hung the TVs plugged into the wrong HDMI on 3 of 4 TVs. Will look this weekend. Appreciated the response.
