Amp keeps going to 100% when turned on.

Since the last app update, every other time I play music or an audio book or use the line in on my Sonos amp, it starts at 100% and scares the crap out of me and probably the neighbours.

Also since the update the app disconnects from my amp constantly, even once it's connected it will just disconnect and I have to close the app and reopen to get it to connect again, sometimes the line in disappears too. Not sure if that's related.

Ensure the Sonos app is up-to-date. Sometimes, subsequent updates can resolve bugs introduced in previous versions.

This has been a problem for over a month, is there no fix to this?

To add to the frustration, I had set a volume limit of 60 and it still went to 100!


I would suggest you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it. Sonos folks, other than the very few moderators, don’t inhabit these forums, and we users don’t have access to the data in your diagnostic. 

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
