I have a Sonos Arc. When I took the soundbar out of the box after purchase the set up when fine. Everything worked including all controls. Since then the EQ has stopped working and also the loudness selection. The speech enhancer works just fine. You can use the sliders for bass and treble but it has no effect on the sound. I tried a factory reset and reboots of the internet connection plus reinstalled the app but these controls still will not work and have no effect on the audio. All updates have been done. I am very disappointed and am afraid that this problem will keep me from buying anymore Sonos products or giving a good recommendation if asked.
How long have you had it, if it is still under warranty a call to support will get it working or replaced.
Thanks for your reply. I have it since December 2024. I have just put up with it all this time and guess that I will have to contact support. I do’t remember how long the warranty is on these….maybe one year?
Support is infinite, replacement is not, and if memory serves, varies slightly depending on purchase location. Your best bet would be to call Sonos Support to discuss it.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
Thank you Bruce. I will give them a call this next week. I also have trouble getting Trueplay to work so will ask them about that also.
