Hi. I’m moving. At my current tv location I have a beam bonded with two ones and a sub. At my new location it had wired passive speakers as ceiling rears and wiring for front speakers. I’ve bought a Sonos amp and trying to determine the best combo. Can I blend my current Sonos setup with the passive speakers using the amp? If so, any recommended setups?

You have a couple of options:

  1. You can continue to use your Beam and Sub and use the Amp and in-ceiling speakers as surrounds. The Ones wouldn’t be used in this setup.
  2. You can get a pair of third-party passive speakers for the front of the room and power them using the Amp. Then bond the Sub and Ones as surrounds to the Amp. The Beam wouldn’t be used in this setup.
