Hi

I would imagine this has been asked, but, due to so many answers relating to the old app, it seemed quicker for me to post.

have a sonos beam , sub mini and two era 100 connected to my tv.

Can I set up a separate group using the same speakers to play just the era1 100 as a stereo pair , when I play music and then go back to group all of them for the tv?

Thanks for your time

No. Not in an easy way, and no keeping the TruePlay settings.
On the other hand, the music with the whole setup sound awesome and better than a single stereo pair.
Anyway, I’ll prefer to be able to choose.

Ok thanks

I’m just used to playing music through other speakers and not a soundbar, but, I will give it a try

I’ve read a lot of information then found out it applies to the old app and so, I’ve wasted time

Thanks for your help

I'd suggest trying the whole set together and again with the surrounds removed and used as a stereo pair. Try moving the mini-sub too. Give the setups a fair audition and if you find you really like the stereo pair option maybe pick up another set od speakers decide on a second sub too.

This is the best time of year to shop as the 30% discount season is active.

Oh, and if you have access to Atmos music consider an Era-300 pair, they are amazing when fed a good Atmos source.
