I have a Beam 2 with a 2023 Samsung Qled TV QE65S95B.

Beam in HDMI3 (ARC) kabelreciver in HDMI 1. sound is through the Beam.

as soon as I plug in another device (media player. Apple TV) the beam loses the connection with he TV and the sound goes through the TV speakers…

called Sonos, did a new installation, no result.

Called Samsung, no solution, only connect optical to the TV. ( no Atmos)

any suggestions?

Ensure you’re using a high-speed HDMI 2.0 cable.

Sound output: Receiver (HDMI-eARC)

Sound Expert settings:

    HDMI-eARC Mode - Auto

    Digital Output Audio Format - Pass-through*

    Dolby Atmos Compatibility - On

General - External Device Manager - Input Signal Plus - ensure all HDMI ports are set to ON.

Set the Apple TV Audio Format settings to this:

Change Format: OFF

Dolby Atmos: ON


No result, after much reading in forums it seems a software conflict between Samsung and Sonos… 

 Connection  now is optical. Wait for the update that solves this problem🙁
