Hi

I have a Samsung S90D TV and Sonos Beam 5.1 Setup and I get 5.1 from my Apple TV and Firestick fine.

I also get 5.1 from my Blu Ray player for any non DTS audio discs but for any Blu Rays with DTS, I just get Stereo PCM as Samsung does not support DTS.

My question is. Will a HDFury Arcana solve this for me?

Ideally I want to avoid a HDMI switcher but I assume if I will need to get one for the ATV/Firestick too if I am going to use HDFury for the Blu Ray Player

Thanks

Just to update

Seems the lack of E-Arc on the beam was rhe issue

Upgraded to a beam gen 2 and immediately I got Multichannel PCM 5.1 from the Blu Ray player

Does your Samsung S99D not support audio pass-through?

Does your Samsung S99D not support audio pass-through?

The option is there but it’s greyed out.

Reading up there are numerous other posts about DTS and Samsung where people get Stereo PCM too.

According to HDFury website it does support Dolby Atmos so I see no reason why it would not support BASIC DTS. Also know that the Beam does not support all DTS codecs.
I’d first contact Samsung to determine why audio pass-through is greyed out. Hopefully, another member will see thread an offer more assistance.

Samsung not supporting DTS is the very reason I will NEVER buy Samsung TV ever again.

I was in market for new TV months ago. Not sure if you are? But went with 77 in LG G4. I love it!

LG G4 supports Atmos and DTS. Now if Sonos would only support DTS:X be so much better.
