I have Sonos Beam (gen 1) running thru Sony Bravia TV (uses Android, very awkward) with speakers in multiple rooms.  Want to add Roku Ultra streaming device so TV and streaming is simpler to operate.

Anyone have  experience, feedback, etc. is welcome using Roku w/existing Sonos setup?

Sonos just plays what your TV sends it, use the Group function to add other rooms.

What are you going to stream that wouldn't better be done directly with your Sonos?

Not sure this is the correct response you’re looking for, but normally any device added gets plugged in to an HDMI port on the TV set, and the data gets sent out via the ARC connection that your Beam is connected to.

I run a Roku Ultra with two Sonos soundbars, a Beam 2 and an Arc Ultra.  It's a no brainer.  Sonos connects to TV via HDMI-ARC, Roku Ultra connects to TV via another HDMI, run the setup, and that's it.
