I am building a surround environment with sonos beam gen2 and two sonos one sl.
In this environment, the volume of the rear speakers is low when the beam is connected to the TV, is it possible to increase the volume of the rear speakers only?

Within the Surround Audio settings for the Beam you can increase the TV Level which will increase the volume of the surrounds only.

Please note, surrounds do not replicate the output of the Beam. By definition, they will only output the respective surround audio for the rear channels.

As @Mr. T says, the surrounds are “effects” channels and will play what’s required to create a 3-d audio environment when you’re watching a 5.1 program. If you’re watching a stereo 2.0 signal you’ll probably get no sound from them.
Playing music they will seem “louder” depending on whether they’re set to full or ambient, and how loud you’ve selected in settings.
