Have you checked the manual for the TV on how to set it up for IR? There are still a lot of ‘accessories’ that only use IR.

I’m pretty sure the remote for your Sony TV is an IR remote. Have you tried running Remote Control Setup under the Ray’s settings in the Sonos app?
