I’ve been having this issue quite a bit lately only on movies. EQ bass level is at 6 and sub audio level is a 7. Any idea what causes the popping?

Not off hand. Have you submitted a diagnostic within 10 minutes of the popping, and called Sonos support to look at the diagnostic?
