Hi everyone, my playbar in the living room has just started making a high pitched noise and I can hear it fluctuate depending on certain sounds on a tv show. How do I fix this as this is a older playbar

I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. But don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Great news! I spoke to Sonos and they have told me to pack up my playbar and get it ready to return for a replacement completely free of charge!
thanks a bunch for your help :)

Both sorry to hear it was an internal hardware issue, and delighted to hear they’re replacing it for you!

You’re most welcome.
