I have an Arc and subwoofer and use Era 300 as rear / surround speakers for my home theater. I am building a new home and the ceiling height in the Great room where these will be located is 12 ft. I plan to place the speakers high up so I can hide the electric outlets in the ceiling behind the speakers. My question is regarding the height for best sound in this room. Is 11 ft high acceptable?
