Can I pair Beam1 with amp driven ceiling speakers as rears ?
Currently use the ARC HDMI socket with cable to Amp ro drive ceiling speakers that works great.  I want to add the Beam to TV but only one ARC socket…..

Thoughts welcome

As I understand it, HDMI into Beam, set up the Amp as surrounds and the Beam communicates with the Amp via WiFi to send the appropriate surrounds audio data.

Yes. To do so factory reset the Sonos Amp and add it back to your system as standard in-ceiling speakers and give it a room name. Setup the Beam as the soundbar for your TV. In the room menu for the Beam select Add Surrounds. The app will locate the Amp and ask if you’d like to use it to drive surrounds. Agree and follow the prompts. No need to wire anything as the Beam will send the surround channel to the Amp over its proprietary 5Ghz frequency. Also know that the Amps line input and output is disabled when driving surround speakers.

If you would be using the Amp for surrounds, the IB-ceilings should be behind the listener. Are they?
