Just bought the Ray speaker but no output sound despite the status lights saying all is okay. Any tips would be appreciated. Restart maybe?

How is RAY connected to the TV?
Sometimes a cleanup can help. Power down all Sonos, reboot router and controller and power up the Sonos and see if it helps.

The RAY is connected via optical cable through Virgin box.
ill also try the clean up steps you suggested as well.

Is the Virgin box set to put out sound to the optical connection?
