This sounds a bit strange but on SOME programmes we are having to listen to narrative speech...not written sub titles but spoken words throughout...its driving us crazy!

We are going to need a wee bit more information.

So for example, right now James Bond film is on..on ITV channel...throughout the film the narrator says  for example 'James looks across the river" or the woman in the red dress is smiling"

That sounds like the Descriptive Video Service (DVS) option made available to audiences who are blind or visually impaired.  You need to turn off SAP, either on the TV or whatever cable/satellite box/streamer/etc. you are using.  

Thank you....we have found it! For some reason the audio description was on...mnnnnnnn no idea how this happened...found it on the sky remote...yes, its gone! Well hopefully, watch this space....thank you!
