Mini vs Gen 3 sub

For the money I can get two Mini’s one for each room.  House is an L shape and all open.  Or should I splurge and do Sub Gen 3?
Media room and Living room.  Living room I have an Arc with OLED 65 media room OLED 75 and Ray.
Right now I’m thinking a mini in each room, but I’m interested in what the community has to say.  If the minis are meh then I probably need to increase the spend.  If you all say you will be pleased with the thump of the 6’.  I’ll probably save the money.

Not knowing the dimensions of the space and how your TV’s are arranged within; here’s my take based upon equipment you have. Also assumes movies are the primary genre.

  • Sub Gen3 with Arc
  • Sun Mini with Ray

Or go with your choice of a sub mini for each.

Buy a Mini and try it in both rooms. Remember the placement of the speaker can make a big difference to how much bass it produces.
If it’s good, buy and add the second Mini. If no good return the Mini within the home trial period and get the full-size Sub.
