Mi Box Gen 2 -> HD Fury Arcana -> Sonos Bean Gen 2 - Will this setup work?

Hey everyone -

I have a pretty old Samsung TV (UA46C7000) that doesn’t support eArc,
it does have an Arc port but it only outputs PCM.

I’ve been using the Xiaomi MI Box Gen 2 and I’ve connected it to the Sonos Beam using
and optical cable. This give pretty bad results as the sound is metallic at times and is in stereo.

I’ve seen loads of good reviews on the Arcana being able to convey Dolby Atmos to the Beam.
Does anyone have any experience with this specific setup? (Mi box → Arcana → Beam).
Will it work seemlessly? Perhaps there’s a cheaper solution that’s I’m not aware of?
