keep speakers grouped

Hi,

Does anyone know a way to keep speakers grouped other than when one product is playing from a TV (HDMI eARC).

It would be great to keep a few products in a room grouped for listening to music other than when they are set to automatically ungroup when the AMP is playing from the TV.

Thanks,

David

Settings/Groups/Create Group will let you define a set of rooms as a permanent group.

Hi,

Thanks and understood. This solution isn’t quite what I’m after as it’s not permanent. When Sonos ungroups for TV input it does not then regroup afterwards. Sonos in the same room does really need to ungroup if one is playing from a TV via HDMI ARC (unless part of a Home Theatre set up) due to the latency between them when playing from a TV.

Agreed that you can just select the ‘Living Room’ group button in the app to regroup them after using the TV. However, I was ideally hoping to avoid this step given some family members don’t use the Sonos app and play direct from within other Apps.

Thanks,

David
