Are we still not able to connect a karaoke mixer to a Sonos arc? Even one with a HDMI switch?

Any help?

The Arc can take input via HDMI-ARC, HDMI-eARC, or optical (via dongle Sonos provides).  If your mixer can output in any of those methods, or you have a device that can convert to one of those (a TV for example), then it should work.  There should be minimal delay.
