Hi all! I listen to a lot of music with my Arc Ultra, Era 300s, and Sub Gen 2. While I felt like the system doesn’t fully reach its potential due to the nerfed Era 300s, I was still quite happy with how it handles music overall (coming from the OG Arc + Symfonisk Bookshelf Speakers).

That said, I was never a big fan of setting Music Playback to "Full" in the Surround Settings. To me, it always sounded a bit muffled and echoey, whereas "Ambient" had a much better, more balanced sound.

Over the past few months, I’ve done multiple Trueplay tunings, and after the latest update, I decided to do it again. And then, just for a moment, I disabled Trueplay while having Music Playback set to "Full"—and wow! The difference was huge. The sound was clearer, more open, and way more enjoyable than with trueplay "on" or ambient.

So I switched back to "Ambient", which, in my opinion, clearly sounds better with Trueplay ON. Then I tested some Atmos Music, and again, Trueplay ON delivered a much cleaner and more immersive experience. Same goes for movies—voices sound far more natural with Trueplay enabled.

However, since I listen to a lot of music via Apple Music, it’s really frustrating to get such inconsistent results, forcing me to constantly toggle Trueplay on and off. Because "full" music playback with trueplay "off" clearly delivers the best quality overall - but for every other usecase it's quite the opposite.

I even tried using a different iPhone for Trueplay tuning and tweaking settings (Treble, Surrounds, Height effects, etc.), but the results stayed the same.

Sounds exciting, I have to try it..
I haven't experienced any challenges with the sound/music myself, but I'm definitely open to improvements :)

Have you tried both Thrueplay, the Fast and Advanced. Could there also be a difference there.
Only use the fast one myself.
