Surround speakers must be a pair of like models. You would need two of the same to use as surrounds.

No it is not possible to use a Sonos Ray soundbar with an IKEA SYMFONISK and a Sonos Era 100 speaker to create a surround sound 5.1 system. The sonos Ray can be paired with two matching speakers as surround speakers, but it cannot create a 5.1 system on its own because it lacks the necessary subwoofer and additional rear speakers required for true 5.1 surround sound.
