I can't hear songs or movies in era 300 on YouTube.

Hi, I have a question. I purchased an Arc Ultra Era 300 and an Era 300 Sub 4 a few days ago and I connected them together as surround sound, but I realized that if I put songs that don't support Dolby Atmos/Digital on, the Era 300 doesn't work, only the Arc Ultra works. Is it right to be concerned?

Sorry - I misread your question. As I understand it, most stuff on YouTube is only sent in stereo (regardless of what’s shown as the format) and so there is no surround data to play.

1/ Do you have the surrounds set for Full or Ambient? Full may be the better option.

2/ Are you playing from a radio station on the tv, or streaming from, say, Amazon or a radio station? If a tv-sourced radio station is only transmitting in stereo, your Arc will decode that and see nothing to send to the surround speakers.
