I have the audio plugged into my tv and the power cord plugged in as well. The Sonos app says it cannot find the tv audio and won't set up. Can someone help?

On my vizios, I remember a setting on the Audio screen (I think...it's been years) that you had to turn on the optical out. Check to make sure that on the audio settings on the TV, you're locked down to dolby digital and that the digital out is "on". This may be something that's automatic when you turn off the TV's speakers. Pull the cable out of the PLAYBASE and look at the end of it while the TV's on, and make sure there's a red light coming out of it.
Oh, and check all the audio settings for devices that are connected to the TV (cable box, console boxes, DVD Players, etc) to make sure that they're all set to Dolby Digital as well.
