Hi all,

just discovered tonight my LG tv remote was no more controlling the volume on my arc… resync it on lg tv, restarted arc, inactivate lg sync stuff nothing solve it. Thought it was related to my surround (symphonisk) because no more distance option in sonos app, so unpair/repair them no changes. Btw the function vocal improvements (not sure about translation) is also not working anymore…

any help from someone facing the same issues?

thanks

Assuming you are connected via eARC or ARC input, Sonos has nothing to do with the remote. Your remote talks to the TV (via IR or RF), and the TV uses HDMI-CEC to control the volume of your Arc. If volume control fails in this case, its on the TV or the remote.

(The above is not true for optical audio connections).

Ok all came back… surrounds distance, voice enhancement and tv remote work as well. Not sure about the issue… cloud things? Never had any trouble past years until now… new app beta tests may have been deficient…

Thanks for the rapid answer, anyhow a bit strange this was cumulated to other sonos app issues… maybe I had no chances…

I’ve certainly not had any issues with my LG tv. It’s working fine with the various releases of the Sonos app. But then again, the remote connects to the TV, not the Sonos, as @controlav says.

Ok thanks. Forget about lg remote issue seems to be ok now. But I still have issues with arc and surrounds, no lore distance setup and vocal enhancement. Not sure what to do to get back a to smth that works
