I currently have an arc with 2 x 1sl’s for surrounds in my lounge and it works fine with the usual tv apps and my Virgin streaming box but when I use the Firestick the some bounces from arc to SL1 surround’s and back

firestick audio issues through Arc

I have used the Arc and Ultra with my Firestick 4k Max and it has no sound issues.
What afirestick do you have?
Have you checked and applied all u0dates to Sonos, TV and Firestick?
Once all are updated unplug the TV, Arc and Firestick from power for two minutes.
Try the Firestick Atmos test, if yours supports it.

Switch off all dolby oprions on firestick, volume etc.
Select best available for audio
You should get a non processed signal passed to your soundbar.
