Do i get the ARC or the ERA 300

Hi everyone.

I’m kinda new to sound in house…..and i allways was having sound in my car. So as i start getting older(i’m close to 50yo) i spend more time inside my home rather than spend time in my car. So i went on Youtube and start seach for input of what to buy when i needed to upgrade my sound. I choose Sonos. So here i am…

Anyway….my livingroom upstairs got: Beam gen2,2xERA 100 and 2xgen3. And my Bow&Arrow-Panasonic does not got eARK so Arcana HDfury is been used….works great.

So….do i purcase the ARC or a Era 300-pair? I will have both but economics makes me choose this month. The 300’s will have a wall-mount and in future i will have the secound pair of 300’s to pair them up front.

So….what would you have purcase first of the ARC or 300’s.

To info the 300’s are on sale from Sonos Web-site,and you can save pretty much the same on the ARC cause another electronic-store got it on Outlet…..so the ARC&300’s cost the same.

When playing music, all rooms in a Group are time aligned. If you include a TV room, there is a time offset between the TV audio and other members of the Group. You can fuss with the TV lip sync and possibly improve the overall situation, but this is not guaranteed.

#buzz….I did not know that. But thanx for uplight me. I’m not trying to be a smartaxx or a betterknower. I have been spending quite bit of time watch Youtube collect som info on Sonos and it’s network/communety/products. But al in all comes down to me/us as a consumer and our experience beyond 3-4yo Youtube-videos. I have just bought my first Sonos two months ago,so all in all i’m a newbe. I have been into soundsystems in cars(from late 80’s untill few years ago….) but not like a pro. I did use fiberglass when intalling aquipment in my cars,so that makes me over average🤣🤣🤣.

So what i’m saying that i do “know sound” to a certain level. But never inside a home, untill now🤞

It’s a different ‘world’ in those tiny little automotive rooms compared to a house. Sound is an ornery creature to deal with — even in the tiniest rooms. Speakers interact with the room and you can have wildly different responses with different speaker and listener locations.

Be careful with those YouTube “experts”. “X” is an unknown and a “spurt” is a drip under pressure.
