I have a multi-zone Creston system with 2 Denon Amps that I’m looking to convert to Sonos. I’m assuming i can connect to all my wired speakers and TV’s but what Sonos device(s) do i need to tie them all together (Port or other)? How many do I need if I’m trying to establish 5 different zones? Thank you for your insights. Adam

Not familiar with your system, and there’s no detail provided, but in general, each pair of speakers (set up in stereo), are a ‘room’ in Sonos parlance. It might help to read the Sonos terminology FAQ.
Now, the question is, do you plan on removing the current amplifiers, in which case you need a Sonos Amp for each ‘room’, or leave them there, in which case you likely need a Sonos Port for each ‘stream’ you need.

You’re welcome. I mislabeled that as a FAQ, it’s technically a thread (and I’m not sure I set it to the correct ‘beginning’ post), but hopefully that helps.
If you want this community to add responses to this thread, adding more detail about your current Crestron setup would help immensely. Knowing what needs replacing, or what can be reused, would be extremely helpful. No sense in spending funds when it isn’t necessary!
Fundamentally, why do you want to replace Crestron? Does your Crestron system control anything in addition to audio?
