Connect Beam (Gen 2) to Samsung Smart TV

Recent purchase. Unable to get sound to Beam and there's no menu option to add the Beam as an external speaker. I'm using the eArc input

I disconnected the power cords for a few minutes, then reconnected and voilà, all good!
