I just set up 2 new Era 300’s with an Arc and a sub.  Can’t seem to hear the Era’s (behind me) when watching a movie.

Exactly the same. Swapped out two One’s and an original sound bar which was much better. Can get music to play through all three speakers (Spotify) but nothing from the TV

They will only produce any “surround effects” noise from a 5.1 or Atmos program. If there’s nothing to play, you won’t hear anything.  Try playing music from a streaming source to check they’re working. (Also check they’re set for Full rather than Ambient sound.

You’ll only hear sounds from the surrounds when there is sound sent to them by the content. 5.1 or Atmos doesn’t use the surrounds all the time, only when there is actual surround sound in that particular scene.
If you can’t hear them enough you can always turn the TV level up in the surround settings.
If you can get music through them, they’re working correctly.

Thanks.  How do you check the full vs ambient setting?

Thanks.  How do you check the full vs ambient setting?

That only applies to music, not TV.

To turn up the TV audio for surround, go to Settings - [room] then scroll down to Surround Audio and adjust from there.

@Jak55555 What exactly are you watching? What model TV do you have?
