Best settings for Surround

I have a ARC, sub gen 3, and two Era 100’s for my surround setup. I’m wondering if anyone has any recommended settings and levels for the speakers.

 

Also, my two Era 100’s are behind my couch and not high enough to be over the top. Is this a concern or no?

With room acoustics being so variable (room shape, furnishings etc), the best way to set up your system is “if it sounds good to you, you’ve got it well set up”.

Can you move the Eras to a slightly wider location - “beside” and behind it? But again, if it sounds ok to you, then it’s ok.
