Been having trouble controlling your TV and Sonos with your Apple TV remote?

You may want to install the latest version of the Apple TV software (16.3.3)

See here:

This disconnection issue would stop sending commands to your TV set, which normally passes those on to your Sonos Arc, Beam, or Amp via HDMI-CEC. If the remote isn’t communicating properly with the Apple TV, it can’t send those commands to your TV set.

It’s important to note that the update is only available for the Apple TV 4K models. If you have an older Apple TV, it won’t ‘see’ this update. Those will continue to operate (for now) on the older version of Apple TV OS. .
