So two questions about my Sonos Beam and Sub.

  1. Sonos Beam and Sub keep reducing in volume when I am playing music. I’ve reset the system and it’s still doing the same thing. 
     
  2. The same Beam won’t connect to my TV via HDM. I’ve the cable in the right port and still nothing, I also tried the digital port.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your Sonos Beam and Sub. 

For the first issue, volume changes could occur for a few different reasons, but without looking into your system I wont be able to tell why. Since it keeps happening, I would recommend you submit a diagnostics within ten minutes of the volume decreasing, then contacting our support team. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system and see why the volume is changing without your input.

For the second issue, make sure your Beam is connected to the HDMI-ARC/eARC port on your TV: this should be labeled clearly on the TV itself next to the correct HDMI port or in the manual for the TV. If it’s in the correct port, then check the TV settings to make sure it isn’t defaulting to the internal TV speakers. If you are still experiencing no sound after doing this, when contacting our support team for the issue above, they can also help you resolve this.
