Hi,

I have gradually been building my sonos system through the house, and have now got the following setup in the lounge, which I had hoped / planned would mean Dolby Atmos / 7.1 sound - if the content allows.

Beam 2, Sub Mini, 2 x Ones at the back of the room.

Will this indeed achieve the atmos / 7.1 experience I had hoped for films / TV?

Thanks in advance

Yes.  The Beam 2 has virtual Atmos channels and will play Atmos sources.

So will it direct sounds upwards and bounce them off the ceiling for immersive sound? Alongside the rear ones creating surround sound?….

Wondering how good some films are going to sound 😄

Yes.  It’s not as immersive as physical Atmos channels like the Arc and Arc Ultra, but it is pretty good.

Perfect. Thanks for the info. It its not a massive room / lounge to be honest, so I think it will be good enough, and I don’t like how big the arc is.
