I have a system with

Arc Ultra

300 era surround

Sub gen 3

sub gen 4

When i run the trueplay on the Ultra with my Android it finishes without a problem, but it doesnt seen to activate. There is no trueplay toggle button appearing and i can still change distances of surround. (All eq settings reset though)

I tried with 2 different Android units and get the same result.

When i Ran the normal trueplay on my girlfriends iPhone it saved. But I want to use Android trueplay because of the bass issue with subs in Ultra and trueplay

Seems like I have found the issue. When I disconnect the surrounds and run Trueplay it works. Sais success and I see the toggle. I then added surrounds back and it was gone again, but now it worked to tune again and toggle was there.

So solution was to remove surround, run a trueplay. then add them back and run again.

AIUI, there is a “quick” Trueplay using the speakers’ inbuilt microphones, which can be run from an Android controller. There is also the “full” Trueplay (going around the room waving the iPhone) which is still iPhone only.

Yes, but others seem to get the Trueplay toggle when jusing using android controller, the quick one. https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/1gpt5x5/comment/lwuy9vm/?context=3

If the Trueplay toggle doesn’t show after running Trueplay, then the process has failed, irrespective of any success confirmation the app may show.

Are there any system updates available to you?

I tried the solution this morning, and it worked, but this afternoon i opened the sonos app and the trueplay save from this morning was gone. Seems that during the active session from this morning the trueplay is saved, but the next listensession the trueplay save is gone.

Has anyone the same experience?

Are you sure it isnt saved but you just cant see the option? If you check “surround” tab, is distances grayed out?

Yesturday the True Play tab was gone but it was still active, today its back

I will look at it again tomorrow.

Checked it again yesterday, but still no trueplay toggle vissible, and in the “surround” tab, distances are not grayed out.

For now i will use the advanced trueplay via my iphone, this trueplay stays saved. Hope there comes a solution for saving the trueplay on my android device in a future update.
