I have an odd issue - I have a Sony Bravia 3 (purchased this year) and Sonos Arc Ultra (also purchased this year) - and the ARC connection needs to be “switched” over on the ARC everytime on turn the TV on - i need to go to TV settings - set it back to TV Spekers and the oVer to Audio System - firmware is updated on all - any thoughts??

Seems odd. The ARC settings on the TV should be ‘on’ all the time. I’d be tempted to check the TV for updates, and apply any you find. After that, I’d reset the OS of the TV by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes.
If the issue continues after that, and if the TV’s support group can’t help, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
