I believe the Sonos Arc Ultra is broken. I have owned my full setup Arc Ultra/Sub4/Era300’s for a few days now and noticed almost immediately that the dialogue or centre channel was sounding a fair bit shrilling or harsh, so I messed with settings & re did Trueplay and nothing could make it sound right so I got hold of a Dolby Atmos test tone file 7.1.4 along with a DB meter & noticed straight away that the Centre channel is at least +6db higher than the FL & FR channels, this is beyond infuriating if you have any experience with AV and it appears there is no fix either. How on earth Sonos or reviewers do not even notice this is beyond me as any Dolby mix sounds awful because of it. I would not have bought the setup knowing this. It’s still in return window but it’s a big pain sending it all back. Has anyone got a fix or workaround for this problem?
