I want to buy a sub for my arc ( not ultra ) soundbar. I have 2 first generation ikea symphonisk lampspeaker connected to the arc. Can I use every sub ( mini-gen 3-gen 4) with the arc. (And with the symphonisk also still working)

Hi @Ewalberg

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

You can safely buy the Sub 4 (or other Subs, or the Sub Mini) for your Arc. The Sub 4 is listed as not compatible with the first generation Ikea products in that it cannot be bonded directly to one (or a pair). In your case, the Sub will be bonded to the Arc and not the Ikea speakers, so you’ll be fine.

I hope this helps.

I know that a gen 4 is not compatible with ikea gen 1. But Ikea gen 1 are working now connected with my Arc.
So question is, can I also connect gen 4 sub with the IKEA gen1 still working when connected to compatible Arc ?

Thx for your answer! Highly appreciated.
So it will be the 4. For sure, I like the matte black over the dated shiny version 3.
