I am getting a new TV and I have a playbase set up on my old TV. What kind of process is needed to hook the playbase up to the new TV? Do I need to install it again or just plug in the audio cable?

Just plug in the optical cable. You will also need to set up the tv so it sends a Dolby Digital signal to External Speakers. Also, the new remote control will need to be set up in Settings/Sytem/roomname.
