The Arc supports various Dolby Digital formats. DD5.1, DD+, TrueHD.…

What is missing that you want?


Will there be future support or should I get rid of it?

Are you talking about the Sonos Arc? Because the only thing it doesn’t support is DTS audio.

What you probably need to do is sell your tv, not your Sonos Arc. The weakest link here is a tv with  HDMI-ARC. You need eARC HDMI connection on your tv....

What DTS content are you trying to watch? If it’s a DTS-encoded Blu-ray, just set your Blu-ray player to convert DTS to PCM and you’ll get multi-channel LPCM to play through your Arc which sounds just as good as DTS-HD Master Audio.
