We have a Sonos Beam.. I cannot turn off speakers on TV (Pioneer Plasma with attached Speakers). Setup says use volume control on app. Cant seem to figure out how to do that. Sound is fine with Google assistant..

Thank you Chris. Wasn't sure about disconnecting the speakers. Have done a chat with Sonos. Very helpful but no resolution. They suggest I call Sonos help. Will do tomorrow.

Older Pioneer can be kinda squirley with speakers. If Tv won’t turn off speakers - are they disconnectable (many old pioneers you could disconnect the optional speakers).
Does volume control of TV via tv remote adjust adjust the TV and the Beam sound?
