Using play 5 as a rear center speaker for surround sound
I recently just purchased a play bar and two play 1 and just I I have a playbar and two play 1's and just ordered a sub and got my play 5 in today and was wondering if there is going to be an update so I can add my play 5 to my surround sound as a rear center speaker instead of having to just group it with my surround sound

+22In a 5.1 system there is no such thing as a rear center speaker. It is 2 rear speakers. So to pair the play:5 with the playbar you have to have 2 play:5s. You already have 2 play:1s in that role so I would stick with that.
I would use play:5 for a different room. You can play tv sound to it by grouping it with the playbar in the rooms menu at the top of controller.
