Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to play sound through the Sonos Arc and the Sonos Ace at the same time. My friend likes louder sound so he’d like to listen using the headphones while I would listen using the soundbar.

No, when TV Audio Swap is activated, the soundbar mutes and audio is only played through Ace.

Hello community,

Currently Sonos Ace headphones don’t exist like an individual speaker or group of speakers does in the Sonos app. Instead, whatever is playing, (e.g. TV source from soundbar) you can choose to SWAP it to play on the headphones. But not on the headphones and soundbar/room setup at the same time.

However, if someone is watching TV happily in ‘Lounge Room’, is it possible for the audio that is playing in the ‘Conservatory Room’ (e.g. Radio source) to SWAP that audio to the Ace Headphones, without affecting the TV listening in a different room, different source and Sonos speakers?

The Roam speaker is a mobile audio device, like the Ace headphones, so when will Sonos configure the Ace headphones so that they can be used as a standalone wireless roaming speaker device that any audio source can be selected or even grouped?

If Sonos were to solve this capability and communicate it well it will sell twice as many Ace headphones! Simples.

thanks.

That would exactly meet the needs i have , i was about to order 2 ace headset but ill need to order another brand with rf adapters because i want to watch the tv with my headset while my wife watch the same movie on the surround system , I tend to like the sound to be louder than her so we could still watch the same movie meeting each preferences ans no the swap functionality will not do the trick since she prefers the surround system over a headset
