TV remote to control playbase volume only works on 1 input?

I followed this article and got my samsung smart remote to control the volume but it only manage to do it to
the only input I program it on, in this case my HTPC via HDMI but when I switch say to a watching TV, I can't seem to control the volume with the remote

    Hi binh25

    I believe on the TV's universal remote settings you need to assign every input source to a "new device" in order to be able to control multiple inputs, i.e. need to setup multiple devices for the universal remote

    i.e. go into the universal remote settings

    Then for each input you want to be able to control select "new device" -> "select the type of device" ->"Select the brand"-> 'Select the input" ( hdmi, optical etc) -> "select power test" and say yes it worked.
